Goodbye May Seem Forever by spookykomaeda Goodbye May Seem Forever by spookykomaeda
"We met it seems, such a short time ago
You looked at me -- needing me so
Yet from your sadness, our happiness grew.
Then I found out, I needed you, too!
I remember how we used to play
I recall those rainy days
the fires glowed, that kept us warm
And now I find -- we're both alone
Goodbye may seem forever
Farewell is like the end
But in my heart's a memory,
and there you'll always be. "

I have finally come to a decision that has taken many, many years to make. The Fox and the Hound...is my all-time favorite Disney movie.
I've always had a hard time choosing which movie is my favorite, but after watching The Fox and the Hound five more times today..it won.
On another note...my painting room is flooded from all the tears I sobbed today. The Fox and the Hound is also the saddest movie ever. Poor Tod.

Yes I dont think people at times realize how extremely emotional cartoons can be. But you captured the emotion perfectly in this painting.

This picture is great but THANKS FOR MAKING ME CRY!!!! I can't watch this movie on a bad day because I always cry like a baby. But it is one of the sweetest movies and it actually addresses heartbreak in a mature way. Just ... :sniff:

Really sad scene, but you made this beautifully. I love how you drew Todd, the bright colors of his fur against the gloomy-looking forest in the background. I especially like how he's tilting his head a bit, almost as if he could ask Widow Tweed, "What have I done wrong? Why are you taking me away from your home?" :( *gives Tod a big hug*
